This saves money in that only one connection is needed for both voice (phone) and data (Internet) service.

VoIP can provide big company telephone features on a small company budget. You are not merely trading one system for another: VoIP represents the next generation of telephony and messaging: Control calls anytime from anywhere, view incoming calls, view missed calls, view calls you have placed, view your voice messages like emails (find the voice message you want to listen to first – listen to it through your phone, remotely, or on any sound-enabled computer, forward it to another user or an email box), click to call people in your contact directory, enjoy four-digit dialing to all of your locations, etc.

ADT Home Security Alarm Systems:
ADT is the leader in affordable high-tech alarm systems in the United States based on state-of-the-art technology and equipment that provide Interactive Monitoring with World Wide Web access, mobile phone access, email alerts and other notifications of intrusions upon the safety of your family.

Any monitored intrusion into your home will be quickly reported by one of the 5 United States ADT Security Services Customer Monitoring Centers that continuously protect your family and home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It's important to understand that most security companies only have one monitoring center, and in some cases, that one center is not based in the United States or even managed by an actual security company.

With ADT, you get security from five interconnected command centers that are strategically located throughout the United States. Each command center is backed by powerful equipment and trained professionals, so if one connection is interrupted, one of the other centers can handle the monitoring for your home.

This means ADT is prepared for various emergencies. Other companies may not be equipped to provide this level of protection. A company offering only one monitoring center may not be able to protect your home and family in the event their one center goes down.

Don't risk your home and family's safety, choose ADT (America's #1 security company) for monitored security protection. With ADT, your home is monitored 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency, your ADT system can transmit a signal to one of ADT's five monitoring centers. The receiving monitoring center then will attempt to contact the homeowner via phone after the signal is received. If the person who answers the phone cannot supply the personal identification code, or if no one answers the phone, the representative then can notify local authorities. Local authorities may be dispatched to the home to determine the cause of the disturbance and to respond to emergency situations.

Telecom Brokerage and Consultant Services:
Multi-Site National and Global Network Solutions: As your organization grows, so does the importance of telecommunications integration and coordination. For example, we can design a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) Network that can connect all of your locations to enable sensitive data to flow back and forth at a high speed without the risk of interception. Call us at (888) 255-5859.

MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching):
MPLS is a standardized data switching technology that optimizes network traffic flow and eases management of data networks. MPLS carves specific paths data packets that are identified by a label that saves the time needed for a router to look up the address to the next node in order to forward the packet. MPLS works with the Internet Protocol (IP), Asynchronous Transport Mode (ATM), and frame relay network protocols. MPLS allows most packets to be forwarded at the layer 2 (switching) level rather than at the layer 3 (routing) level and makes it easy to manage quality of service (QoS).

Ethernet Access to the Internet from your Local Area Network (LAN)
Connect your business local area network (LAN) to the Internet using the same protocol that operates on your LAN: Ethernet. This increasingly popular Internet access solution makes it easy to connect all of the computers on your LAN at your company to the Internet with minimal configuration and cost.

A major feature of Internet over Ethernet is the ease in which you can upgrade from 1 Mbps to 1 Gbps. Simply call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and ask for an upgrade and it can be provisioned almost in real time. This service is the future of Internet access for the foreseable future.

DSL (Digital Subscriber Line Service):
Digital Subscriber Line Service (DSL) has become a very popular Internet access service. This is because DSL uses the existing copper pairs that already exist between most customer premise offices and the local phone company central office (CO). A DSL connection is set up between a DSL modem at the customer premise and a DSL access multiplexer, or DSLAM, at the phone company central office. Both voice and data can be run across the same DSL connection by using a filter to separate voice traffic from Internet traffic.

DSL has become a widely-accepted and increasingly reliable method of delivering phone service and providing Internet access that saves end users money because both voice and data are delivered across the same plain old telephone serivce (POTS) line. However, the distance to the local phone company central office where the copper POTS line is connected from the customer premise to the DSLAM will determine the potential speed of the DSL connection.

Wireless Internet Service:
Satellite Wireless Internet is a new way to access the Internet at high speeds from anywhere in the United States. Satellite Wireless Internet is delivered via satellites that orbit the Earth while transmitting and receiving high frequency radio internet data to a small dish located at the customer premise. This two-way satellite radio system is reliable, easy to set up and is mobile. You can move the subscriber satellite dish and re-connect with ease.

HughesNet offers high-speed Satellite Wireless Internet service satellite internet (sometimes incorrectly spelled satelite internet) to subscribers who are in remote locations or unique locations where DSL or other types of Internet access is unavailable. All you need to connect to HughesNet is an unobstructed view of the southern sky. Please click on the banner below for more information.

 Frame Relay Multisite Survey

Written by: Patrick Oborn - Jan 9, 2009

Frame Relay was developed to solve communication problems that other protocols could not: the increased need for higher speeds, an increased need for large bandwidth efficiency, particularly for clumping ("burst" traffic), an increase in intelligent network devices that lower protocol processing, and the need to connect LANs and WANs. Like X.25, Frame Relay is a packet-switched protocol. But the Frame-Relay process is streamlined. There are significant differences that make Frame Relay a faster, more efficient form of networking. A Frame-Relay network doesn't perform error detection, which results in a considerably smaller amount of overhead and faster processing than X.25. Frame Relay is also protocol independent-it accepts data from many different protocols. This data is encapsulated by the Frame-Relay equipment, not the network.

Today's LANs and computing equipment have the potential to run at much higher speeds and transfer very large quantities of data. With the diversity and complexity of today's networks, management can be a mammoth task if you don't have the proper tools. Each environment is a unique combination of equipment from different vendors. Frame Relay uses a packet-switching technology, similar to X.25, but is more efficient. As a result, it can make your networking quicker, simpler, and less costly.

Frame Relay sends information in packets called frames through a shared Frame-Relay network. Each frame contains all the information necessary to route it to the correct destination. So in effect, each endpoint can communicate with many destinations over one access link to the network. And instead of being allocated a fixed amount of bandwidth, Frame-Relay services offer a CIR (committed information rate) at which data is transmitted. But if traffic and your service agreement allow, data can burst above your committed rate. Since Frame Relay has a low overhead, it's a perfect fit for today's complex networks. You get several clear benefits: First, multiple logical connections can be sent over a single physical connection, reducing your internetworking costs. By reducing the amount of processing required, you get improved performance and response time. And because Frame Relay uses a simple link layer protocol, your equipment usually requires only software changes or simple hardware modifications, so you don't.
